Anne Hindrey Bio:

Anne Hindery is the Chief Executive Officer of the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM).  NAM’s purpose is to connect, promote and support its members and the nonprofit sector.  Hindery came to NAM in 2008 with a unique background in nonprofits, philanthropy and community work including experience as Director for the Alegent Community Benefit Trust, Program Director for the Omaha Community Foundation, a Law Enforcement Coordinator for the United States Attorney's Office, Nebraska District and grant writer for the City of Omaha

 

Anne has extensive experience in grant writing and grant management, working with nonprofits, neighborhood groups, local funders, community outreach, program development & facilitation.  Ms. Hindery received her Bachelor's degree from Creighton University and Master’s in Public Administration from University of Nebraska at Omaha.

 

Anne has more than twenty years experience in public and nonprofit sector program development and management and brings strong skills in facilitation, grant writing and grant management, working with community and neighborhood groups and government agencies and nonprofits and local funders. Ms. Hindery received her Bachelor's degree from Creighton University and Master’s in Public Administration from University of Nebraska at Omaha.

 

Active in her community, Hindery is a proud graduate of Leadership Omaha Class of 28, was in Class 2 of the Great Plains Public Health Leadership Institute and Class 3 of the Nonprofit Executive Institute.  She also serves on the boards of Live Well Omaha, UNO’s Certified Public Manager Program Advisory Board; UNO’s American Humanics Community Council, was a founding Member for the Neighborhood Center.

 

Anne also serves on grant committees for the Omaha Community Foundation’s Fund for Omaha and the Women’s Fund and has served on the Weed and Seed grant committee and has reviewed grants for the Nebraska Crime Commission and the Nebraska Arts Council.
